The Child Inclusive Practice Forum has established itself as a high calibre forum that effectively brings together practitioners working in the area of child inclusive practice to discuss current research, analyse models for best practice, and a platform to meet with other professionals working in the sector.
On 20-22 May 2015, the Child Inclusive Practice Forum will be held at the Rydges Southbank in Brisbane.
The 2015 Child Inclusive Practice Forum is titled “The Art of CIP” in recognition of the artistry, skills and diversity of knowledge in this specialist field.
Keynote presentations, invited speakers, and workshops will cover a wide range of topics in recognition of the many fields that inform this practice. There will also be seminars and role plays exploring the processes of Child Inclusive Practice
Presentations selected from submissions will include the areas of Family Law, Family Dispute Resolution, Family Therapy, Childhood organisations and other professional domains which promote child consultation and incorporate the experience of the child as fundamental to their practice.
An addition to this year's program is the Pre-Forum Workshop with Nathan Mikaere Wallis to be held on 20 May.
Supported by a consortium of agencies from our sector, the program is developed by a dynamic working group drawn from the consortium agencies, and has been developed with the emerging and changing needs of practitioners in mind.
This is the only Australian professional development forum that solely focuses on the needs of new and or experienced child inclusive practitioners.
